Bangalore · Youth-led non-profit

Technology for every generation.

We sit beside senior citizens across Bangalore and teach them to video-call family, pay with UPI, and stay safe online — patiently, one-on-one, and always free.

Who we are

A city where no one is left behind by the phone in their own hand.

Our mission

Tech2Connect exists to close the digital divide for senior citizens in Bangalore. We run free, in-person workshops — simple, engaging, and supported by patient youth volunteers — so every senior can use technology with confidence in daily life.

Our vision

A Bangalore where every senior citizen can video-call their family, pay with UPI, access government services, and navigate a smartphone — independently, and without fear of getting it wrong.

01

Completely free

No cost to participants or to the communities that host us. Not now, not later.

02

One volunteer each

Nobody learns from the back of a room. Every participant gets a person beside them.

03

In your language

Sessions run in English, Hindi, and Kannada — whichever one feels like home.

Inside a session

We start with what they actually want to do.

Not a syllabus. A grandchild's face on a screen, a payment that goes through, a message that lands. We work backwards from the moment that matters, and repeat it until the phone stops feeling like a risk.

  1. 01

    Sit down together

One volunteer, one senior, one phone — theirs, not ours.

  2. 02

    Do it, don't watch it

They tap every button themselves. We only point.

  3. 03

    Leave with it written down

A large-print card of the steps, in their language, to keep.

The curriculum

Six things worth knowing.

Built from the ground up for senior citizens — no jargon, no rushing, no assumptions about what someone already knows.

How we run

Five departments, two heads each.

Everything from the reels you see to the budget behind a workshop is run by students. Each department is led by two heads and supported by its members.

01

Media

Instagram reels and posts, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp channels — the reason anyone hears about us.

02

Communication

Outreach to the community centres and partner organisations that host our workshops.

03

Finance

Fundraising for the charitable trust drives, including planning and running stalls and events.

04

Logistics

Venues, devices, schedules, volunteers — the machinery that makes a session actually happen.

05

Tech

This website, and the tech-literacy learning programs we teach from.

Beyond technology

Fundraising for children in need.

Alongside the workshops, we run fundraising drives for a charitable trust that aids underprivileged children and more. We host events and stalls where the public can give — and every rupee raised goes directly to the cause.

Tech2Connect is a youth-led non-profit initiative. All donations are used exclusively for charitable trust disbursement.
